This Privacy Policy explains how Intera Tech Global Limited (“Intera”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit intera.ltd (the “Site”) or contact us. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (“PDPO”) and, where applicable to visitors from other jurisdictions, other data protection laws such as the EU/UK GDPR.

1. Data we collect

  • Contact form data. When you submit our contact form we receive the information you provide: your name, email address, company name (optional), the service you are interested in and your message.
  • Email correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
  • Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and access times, used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the information or proposals you request.
  • To perform and manage a contract if you become a client.
  • To maintain the security and proper operation of the Site.
  • To comply with legal obligations applicable to us in Hong Kong or elsewhere.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects. We will not send you marketing communications without your consent, and you may opt out at any time.

3. Legal basis

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of: (a) taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; (b) our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and responding to enquiries; and (c) your consent, where sought.

4. Third-party processors

We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site, which may process limited personal data on our behalf:

  • Form processing. Contact form submissions may be delivered to us via a form-processing provider (such as Formspree), which processes the data you submit solely to deliver it to us.
  • Web fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts; your browser contacts Google’s servers to retrieve them, which involves transmission of your IP address to Google.
  • Hosting. Our hosting provider processes technical log data as described above.

These providers may be located outside Hong Kong. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection.

5. Cookies

The Site does not set marketing or profiling cookies. If we introduce analytics tools that use cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, request your consent.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, after which it is deleted. Data relating to client engagements is retained for the duration of the engagement and as required by law (for example, for accounting purposes).

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPO you have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data. Where the GDPR applies, you may also have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 9. Children

The Site is intended for business audiences and not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
